Communications: At Tiverton there is access on to the A361, leading west to Barnstaple and the North Devon coast and east, via the dual carriageway to junction 27 of the M5 motorway, beside which is Tiverton Parkway station, having regular mainline connections to London . Within about 40 minutes drive to the south is the university and cathedral city of Exeter where there is an international airport.
