Alan Graham Joslin, 43, of Fort Street, Barnstaple, pleaded guilty to one charge of using threatening or abusive words likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and one charge of being drunk and disorderly in a public place. Lyndsey Baker, for the prosecution, told the magistrates Joslin was at North Devon District Hospital on July 16 waiting to be treated for a head injury when police were called because he was becoming aggressive and threatening.
