More than 200 people took part in the Womens March in Barnstaple this afternoon in protest of newly-elected president Donald Trump More than 200 marched down the High Street after setting off from the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon at 12.30. They then returned to the Square, all the time holding banners including statements such as 'Hope Trumps Hate', 'do not normalise hate' and 'be the change' It comes on the same day as marches in London and Washington, which aim to deliver a statement of intent to the newly inaugurated president of the United States on his first day in office.
